Romanian-Japanese cultural temptations. An article about the Japanese artist Fumiko Sakuraoka
The magical world of ideas is a fairytale land that frees our Being from the conceptual chains to discover the fascination of imagination and play. Such a world is characterized primarily by meaningful and emotional encounters with the Otherness, in other words with the Other which becomes like a book open to us, which, reading it, we have the opportunity to discover even the Unknown in us.
In these terms, I could talk about my intersection with the Japanese artist Fumiko Sakuraoka in my sincere and unadulterated desire to penetrate the secrets of the Romanian-Japanese cultural horizons. This wonderful Lady of the panpipe in Japan was for me the opportunity to discover my own country from the Japanese perspective of inner calm and spirit culture.
But beyond that, through this small article I would like to express my sincere admiration for Fumiko Sakuraoka as a result of her prodigious artistic activity, including the promotion of the panpipe in Japan.
I was very impressed by her stories about the countless meetings she had with Romania, which makes me draw a metaphorical parallel with the meeting between a samurai and an outlaw.
Last but not least, the art in which Fumiko reunites her Spirit is like a balm that contributes to the regeneration of our soul anatomy, often deformed as a result of our unconscious submission to the pride of the mind. In fact, I would say that Fumiko Sakuraoka, through the artistic message she conveys, is the perfect model for blending tradition and diversity, because, true to her own cultural values, she is perfectly integrated into the field of diversity, especially in the Romanian depth.
Last but not least, the whole artistic activity, exquisitely developed by Fumiko Sakuraoka, can be very well identified with an impeccable lesson about the hidden beauty of life, an infinite lesson for the conscience of each one of us. Therefore, I thank Fumiko for being contemporary with her and I am grateful to Destiny for allowing me to know some of her liberating artistic message.
