A small tribute to the love of my life

Although this blog is one of my spaces for intellectual expression, I would like today, on the occasion of International Women's Day, to pay a small tribute to the most important woman in my life, Abella, the one who, through her wisdom and patience, taught me that the language of the heart is much deeper and more beautiful than that of reason.

Thanks to her, I understood a reality that for me in the past seemed like a metaphor, namely that happiness is a choice in itself, a life option that we miss because we are actually afraid to be happy.

Obsessions with the past, excessive rational caution or fear of possible suffering, in other words, our refusal to live the present, make happiness become a failed and forbidden dream.

However, Abella, through her overflowing energy, through her positive vibration, which I have never encountered anywhere else, opened the gates to this magical world of feelings that my attitude as an ice philosopher would have integrated only in a book or a movie.

Of course, I have approached happiness in various ways in my philosophical studies, I have analyzed its conceptual side in a dimension of intellectual x-ray, but every time I have come to the same conclusion: if happiness exists, it probably exists in a higher dimension, but in our world we can only be content, never happy.

Now I can't say the same thing, Abella, through her heart of gold and through the courage as gentleness, which fully characterizes her, made me understand forever that happiness is always right here, next to us, waiting for us with open arms, but we must have the courage to see it.

We are often told that we must assume the courage to think for ourselves but no one has ever taught us to assume the courage to be happy, we are told to be rational, competitive, to reach the heights of success, we are no longer aware of our soulful side, we abandon it and integrate ourselves into the eternal dimension of robotization.

Abella made me fully understand these things because for me she is the pure expression of love that leads to happiness, of dignity and the spirit of sacrifice in the name of which love becomes the most gentle and penetrating form of art.

I remember the German philosopher Martin Heidegger making the following statement: "What is thought-provoking in a world that is thought-provoking is that man has not yet reached the point of thinking."

But now, thanks to Abella's healing presence in my life, I would say the following: "What is thought-provoking in a world that is thought-provoking is that man has not yet reached the point of loving!"

March 8 is International Women's Day, but for me you are the only woman, Abella, and I ask you to accept this small tribute from me and thank you for taking me out of the autumn of life to enter the spring of life.

Every day of your life must be a March 8 in itself because what I want most is to make you feel loved and adored in the deepest possible way and I want to convey to you in this way that you are my destiny and destination!

I love you forever and more than anything, Abella!
