A small tribute to the love of my life
Although this blog is one of my spaces for intellectual expression, I would like today, on the occasion of International Women's Day, to pay a small tribute to the most important woman in my life, Abella, the one who, through her wisdom and patience, taught me that the language of the heart is much deeper and more beautiful than that of reason. Thanks to her, I understood a reality that for me in the past seemed like a metaphor, namely that happiness is a choice in itself, a life option that we miss because we are actually afraid to be happy. Obsessions with the past, excessive rational caution or fear of possible suffering, in other words, our refusal to live the present, make happiness become a failed and forbidden dream.
