Raising Funds to Help Homeless Youth Gain Access to Education and Safe Housing

Indifference is a form of virtual assassination, as the Argentine thinker José Ortega y Gasset expressed it, therefore we should reflect better on the global space of which we are all citizens.

We should become increasingly aware of the fact that in our world there are places where poverty and barbarity reign absolutely, places where even a loaf of bread seems to be a forbidden dream.

I do not know how many of us have a concrete dimension of global reality, but it seems to me that most of the time we embrace ignorance, duplicity and selfishness in the context in which, beyond the generous proposals and artificial spectacles of industrial modernity, there are people persecuted by their own destinies marked by poverty, suffering and lack of access to basic education.

That is why I appeal to each of you, regardless of nationality, religion, race or political orientation, to access this Facebook page, dangershewrote, coordinated by my good friend Abella, to support her in the charity work she carries out in order to help the afflicted who have no shelter, being at the same time deprived of access to education.

I ask you in the name of humanity that should represent the identity of each of us to join our moral and material forces to support a humanitarian action because only in this way will we be able to become responsible and reflective witnesses of the world we live in.

Last but not least, I sincerely congratulate Abella for this unique action she is carrying out, for the spirit of altruism and self-giving that she demonstrates in a dark world of ignorance.
